What are they:
Our ‘Bon Boxes’ are CSA style boxes designed to make it easier to get regular delivery of fresh local farm food to your door. Instead of custom ordering online, you can pick one of our boxes as a standing order and never worry again that you’ll have fresh food every week. In addition to the convenience, you can still order additional items each week and the boxes have a built in discount to make it even sweeter!

How they work:
Each Bon Box runs for 3 months during the farm productive summer months. May through July and August through October. We take pre-orders for each 3 month period (deadline for current Bon Box is April 16th). Once you are signed up you don’t have to do anything else. We will deliver your box to your door every week full of delicious fresh local farm foods. You can also customize your box with additional items from our store.

What they contain:
We have 3 different box options, each specially designed to fit a variety of individual and family needs. You can review each option fully in our store:

• Bon Box Veggie Mini – for 1-2 people
• Bon Box Veggie Family – for approximately 4 people
• Bon Box Veggie + Meat – for meat and vegetable lovers

FAQs

What if I want to add to my Bon Box standing order?
Contact us with the items you’d like to add to your Bon Box for the full 3 months and we’ll invoice you directly and add it to your weekly delivery. So whether it’s more eggs, milk, vegetables, extra poundage of meat or anything we sell in our store, it’s that easy to customize your box!

What if I want to order more food from your market one week only?
As a Bon Box owner you can also order anything else in our store whenever you like and we’ll just add to your weekly order.

What about delivery charges?
We are already delivering to your home, so anything you order online to add to your order is FREE of delivery charges. So go ahead and order as little as another dozen of eggs or go to town on all our delicious offerings, worry free!

When do you deliver?
We deliver every Tuesday from 6-9pm

Where is the Bon Box left?
We deliver directly to your door. You do not need to be home, but we will need to know where you want us to leave the box if you are not home.  If you live in an apartment you’ll need to make sure we have access to your building or someone to leave the Bon Box with.

What about chilled and frozen items?
If you have ordered any chilled or frozen items and you are not planning on being home to accept delivery, we ask that you leave a cooler for us to place the perishable items in. In our effort to keep packaging and waste to a minimum, this is the most eco-friendly solution that still keeps your foods fresh and happy!

Where do you deliver Bon Boxes to?
We take orders from the following cities and zip codes:
• Washington dc
• Arlington/Alexandria/Falls Church/Mclean areas of Northern VA in these zip codes: 22101, 22207, 22205,22209, 22201, 22211, 22214, 22203, 22202, 22305, 22302, 22301, 22314, 22304, 22312, 22311, 22044.
• Maryland (INSIDE BELTWAY ONLY) in these zip codes: 20815, 20814, 20817, 20818, 20812, 20816

Refunds:
We are not able to refund boxes as the farmers we work with are small farms and they accommodate us with their harvests based on the quantities we confirm. Additionally we have limited number of boxes that are priced at a discount according to the quantities. We are happy however to change the address to a friend, so long as they are in our delivery area!

Coupons: Because these boxes are already discounted you can not apply other coupons to their purchase.
